About the Place

Peachester Lodge is a unique, Queensland, family-owned thoroughbred spelling, pretraining, rehabilitation and young horse education property in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
 
We're always looking for riders and ground staff to work alongside our next-level team who are only happy to train you up in the thrilling world of horse racing (and it is thrilling, by the way - sometimes too thrilling to speak). Do you have horse experience, are hardworking and don’t mind early-morning starts? You sound like the kind of person we’re looking for.
 
Fully-furnished accommodation is provided and includes Wi-Fi and utilities, and there’s a generous wage on offer. (Peachester’s a fantastic place to save for further adventures!)
 
Your doorstep has an endless supply of weekend camping sites, hiking trails through the magnificent Hinterland, and the kinds of stunning swimming spots Australia’s famous for. It truly is a brilliant place to start your Aussie journey. (But please be aware that we are only taking potentials that are committed to stay for six months plus.)
 
Your boss, Warren, has been employing travellers from Visitoz for the last 20 years with great success – just ask Johanna for a reference! 
 
Ride long and live long! All our horses are quiet, well-educated and are keen to get to know you as you embark on your first Aussie working experience.
